Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and the rights you have over it.

Last updated: 2026-06-27

In short

YNK Studios respects your privacy. This site is built to collect as little as possible: it sets no cookies by default, and the only personal data we receive is what you choose to send us through the contact form.

This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, the legal basis for it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible

The data controller for this website is Denis Laposhin, trading as YNK Studios, a sole proprietorship registered in Belgium.

  • Registered address: Oudebaan 106 bus 31, 3360 Bierbeek, België
  • Enterprise number (KBO/BCE): 1015.847.346
  • VAT: BE 1015.847.346
  • Email: denislaposhin@proton.me

What we collect

We collect personal data in two situations only:

  • Contact form — when you send us a message, we receive your name, your email address and the content of your message, so we can read it and reply.
  • Analytics — if you accept analytics in the cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 records anonymous usage data (such as pages viewed and approximate region) to help us understand how the site is used. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and collects no personal data.

We rely on the following legal bases under Article 6 of the GDPR:

  • Contact form — your consent when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and discussing a possible project.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics 4) — your consent, given through the cookie banner. No analytics cookies load until you accept, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics — our legitimate interest in measuring traffic. Because it is cookieless and processes no personal data, it does not require consent.

Who processes data for us

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. A small number of trusted providers process data on our behalf so the site can function:

  • Google (Google Analytics 4) — website analytics, loaded only after you consent.
  • Cloudflare (Cloudflare Web Analytics and content delivery) — cookieless analytics and hosting infrastructure.

International transfers

Google Analytics 4 is operated by Google, which may process data on servers outside the European Union, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where required, by the Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and does not collect personal data, so it raises no international-transfer concern for your personal information.

How long we keep it

Contact-form messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any project that follows, and then for a reasonable period for our records, after which they are deleted.

Analytics data collected through Google Analytics 4 is retained according to Google’s configured retention period and is held in aggregated, non-identifying form. Cloudflare Web Analytics stores only aggregate, non-personal metrics.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data.
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data.
  • Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
  • Portability — receive the data you gave us in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting processing done before you withdrew.

How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of these rights, email us at denislaposhin@proton.me. We will respond within one month.

If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussel, België — gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.

You can change or withdraw your analytics consent at any time. Use the cookie banner that appears on the site to decline, or clear this site’s data in your browser to be asked again. When consent is declined, no Google Analytics cookies are set.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here.
